Bill Edmonds studied his craft in the 70’s and 80’s by traveling the countryside in various bands, playing a variety of styles from country to big band, and has an extensive knowledge in music. Due to his excellence in sight reading, Bill performs weekly around Charlottesville at the Aberdeen barn and Keswick Hall. He’s played with world class acts such as Delbert McClinton, John Legend, and has shared the stage with local heros, Carter Beauford and Jimmy Fortune.
Bill teaches sight reading and music theory but is also a good source to learn what it takes to perform and be a working musician. He is well versed in various styles of music including Blues, Motown, Rock and Jazz.
